Hello dear readers! After a long break, Tanushree’s Delicacies is back. I know it has been a long time, but the baby birds are all flying away from the nest and the blues have been stopping me from posting. But I’m back!
And I’m back with a universal favorite- CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES! I have never met anyone who doesn’t love Chocolate Chip cookies. If you have always loved them and can’t wait to make a jar of your own, follow this easy recipe. I have also added banana to mine, to give it an even better taste, not to mention that this is a great way to use up those ripe bananas lying around the house.
- Banana (ripe, mashed) 1/2 cup
- All purpose flour (Maida) 1 cup
- Baking soda 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Egg 1
- Chocolate chips 3/4 cup
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Melted butter 1/3 cup
- White sugar 1/4 cup
- Brown sugar 1/4 cup
Sieve flour, baking soda and baking powder together and keep aside.
In a bowl take melted butter, egg, salt, and sugar and whisk with a hand blender till frothy.
Now add your mashed bananas to it with a spatula.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to it and mix using the cut and fold technique. Add chocolate chips as well.
Wrap the batter in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Make small balls using 1 tbl spn of the batter and flatten them on a dry parchment paper.
Bake at 350 degrees F/ 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Turn and bake for another 2 minutes to get a soft but crispy texture from outside.
Your cookies are done.
When you’ve had enough of this baked heaven, you can keep the wrapped batter in the refrigerator. It can be stored for days and you can bake as required.
Hope you and your loved ones enjoy this easy and quick recipe! It’s a great way to make something absolutely delicious, easy and in less time. For more easy-to-do and quick recipes, subscribe to Tanushree’s Delicacies and I will be back with more.
